Homework for this weekend 10/1/2019

This weekend, I would like you to research the Stone Age and create a Google Slides presentation, with both information and pictures.

Here are some things you could think about:

  • Stone Henge
  • Cave paintings
  • What did they eat?
  • Where did they live?
  • How did they make things?
  • What clothes did they wear?
  • What animals lived in the Stone Age?

I look forward to hearing all about what you found out on Monday!

Welcome to the Stone Age

To launch our new topic for this half term, Tribal Tales, we became artists and actors!

We learnt lots of facts about Stone Henge and started to create our own artwork inspired by the magnificent monument. (Check back to see the finished product!)

We created cave paintings of animals, handprints and people using pastels and smudging techniques.

As well as all this, we were lucky enough to have the REP theatre in to help us really understand what life was like during the Stone Age!

Homework for this weekend 30/11/2018

Your homework is to think about what items/ activities represent Christmas to you. For example, Christmas carolling or an angel.

You’ll be completing it on Google slides and it looks like this.

To get to this:

1) Go into gmail.

2) Find an email from me and click on Open in slides

3) Click … icon in the top right-hand corner.

4) Click share and export.

5) Click make a copy.

You are now ready to start. On the next few slides, insert a picture and explain why it represents Christmas to you. (Use the + button in the top right corner to add text/pictures).
